Bridge of Hope

Bridge of Hope is committed to empowering women in Africa by eradicating the practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment where women and girls can thrive without the threat of FGM. We aim to achieve this through education, advocacy, and direct intervention, fostering a future where every woman can live with dignity and hope.

Bridge of Hope was founded by Catholic Church Parafia Wszystkich Świętych with a vision to address the urgent need for change in communities affected by FGM. Recognizing the severe physical and psychological harm caused by this practice, our founders were driven by a deep sense of compassion and justice. They envisioned an organization that would not only rescue those at risk but also work towards the complete eradication of FGM through sustained efforts.

In the early stages of our journey, we are focused on raising the necessary funds to launch our first initiatives. These initial actions will include community outreach programs, educational workshops, and the establishment of safe havens for women and girls. By collaborating with local leaders, healthcare professionals, and international partners, we aim to create a robust network of support and advocacy.

Our programs are designed to inform communities about the dangers of FGM and promote alternative rites of passage that honor tradition without causing harm.
